ABOUT MYKONOS

DISCOVER MYKONOS ISLAND - TRUE CYCLADIC CHIC

From the picturesque windmills to the 45 beaches and 350 churches, the island of Mykonos is laden with treasures. To appreciate its real charms one has to take an early morning stroll through the labyrinth of Mykonos town, which boasts countless narrow alleys with cubic-whitewashed houses and blooming balconies. Ariadne's thread leads to Gialos, the picturesque port where fishermen moor their boats. Little Venice is the most famous neighbour in town, with its gorgeous old houses lining the water and forming the backdrop of one of the most magnificent sunsets of Greece.

Mykonos is also blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches in the Cyclades. The map of the island is dotted with several stretches of golden sand, ideal for basking in the Aegean sun and enjoying the warm weather. Nowhere is the island’s cosmopolitan vibe more evident than at Psarou beach, Ornos Bay and Tagoo beach- all close to the town and the port-, where the very finest of Mykonos luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants are found.

ESCAPE TO ORNOS BEACH IN MYKONOS

Located on the southwest corner of the island, within a short distance from the town and the port of Tourlos, Ornos is one of the most popular destinations in Mykonos, featuring a sandy and extended beach surrounded by luxurious accommodation, top-notch restaurants and traditional tavernas, while the nightlife options of the vibrant town are also nearby.

On the left side, there is a small port connecting Ornos to other southern beaches. Providing a safe haven from the meltemi, Ornos beach is a top choice for families, but also for those wanting to combine relaxation and excellent services.
